BanG Studio and CBE in Engineering News-Record

May 10, 2012 10:03 pm : BanG, Blog, Press

Described as “architectural, musical, and wonderful” by Jan Tuchman, CBE member and Editor-in-Chief of the Engineering News-Record, Jacob’s Ladder by BanG, unveiled this past Sunday at CBE CONNECTS: A Community Open House, was a huge success!

Constructed from 320 cardboard tubes with “metal tubes pitched and arranged into one side”, architects Babak Bryan and Henry Grosman created a piece that “‘takes the form of a giant musical instrument that the public is encouraged to ‘play.’”

Installation comes out the front door of our 1909 Neo-Classical Revival building

Learn more about the architects, their artistic and design process, and the project itself here.
